MDM on a ShoeString Webinar 11-19-2009

On Friday September 25th AMB held a 40 minute customer symposium.  Its purpose was to bring clients current with the Predictive Data Management software solution and its most recent release v6.06.

AMB’s vision was to offer a data quality solution that was usable by business and nontechnical individuals, offer a repeatable/extensible process, delivering instantaneous, real-time insight into your data, all with a comprehensive solution in data profiling, cleansing and discovery.  Our client base represents both mid market and multinationals, virtually all industries and is now used across the globe. Our clients also include consulting firms who have endorsed PDM as they attempt to work through complex issues with their clients.  Of particular note, Dr. John Talburt has a one of a kind, Information Quality Master’s Program at University of Arkansas Little Rock.  He offers a noncommercial version of PDM to his students in order to gain real life experience.

The agenda of the symposium begins with a brief presentation from Mark Albala.  Mark is President of InfoSight Partners serves on AMB’s product direction review board.  Mark discusses the relevance to the global enterprise need for up to the second information trustworthiness.  Steve Meister, AMB founder and CTO will then discuss the current status of the PDM suite and its impact to data migration, business intelligence applications, data warehousing and master data management applications.  He will also describe the integration with the major databases and ETL products.  Chris Frary of Satori will discuss AMB’s solution for CASS certified address management.  A 15 minute demonstration of PDM follows the discussion.
